A handsome information panel was unveiled shortly before Easter near Hogarth’s tomb-monument at Chiswick.

It was sponsored by the Friends of St Nicholas Church and designed by Toni Marshall to match the panel at the Hogarth statue.

The panel is intended to help visitors read the now-worn inscriptions on the tomb which was restored in 2010. These include the epitaph to Hogarth composed by his friend, the actor David Garrick.
