Please contact us if you wish to discuss getting involved.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> The <strong>Hogarth statue<\/strong> was purchased with a huge number of donations from enthusiastic individuals but also with large donations from Hogarth Health Centres, The Chiswick Park Development, Sainsbury&#8217;s supermarkets and David Hockney, who was patron of the appeal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> The <strong>statue information panel<\/strong> was sponsored by High Road House when it opened in Chiswick<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> The celebrations for <strong>Hogarth\u2019s House centenary <\/strong>in 2004 were funded by the Trust with the aid of an Awards for All Lottery grant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> The statue <strong>information panel<\/strong> was sponsored by High Road House when it opened in Chiswick<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> The purchase of the <strong>1757 Letters Patent<\/strong> was supported by donations from the Friends of the National Libraries, Fullers Brewery, ALM London and the WHT&#8217;s own funds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> The purchase of <strong>the letter<\/strong> Hogarth wrote to Joshua Kirby, his friend in Kew, for Hounslow&#8217;s collection ,was supported by individual donations made through the Trust and by a grant from the Friends of the National Libraries as well as HLF funding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> The acquisition of the <strong>Kirby miniature<\/strong> for Hounslow&#8217;s collection was supported by funds raised through the Trust, totalling \u00a31,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>digital content <\/strong>for the new presentation of the restored Hogarth&#8217;s House was funded by a grant from the John &amp; Ruth Howard Trust and the WHT&#8217;s own funds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>With the aid of a grant from the Leche Trust and a number of generous donations from individuals, the Trust funded the conservation of the <strong>urns given by David Garrick<\/strong> to Hogarth and commissioned replicas which have been reinstated on the gate piers at Hogarth&#8217;s House<l\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>With the aid of grants from the John Paul Getty Jnr Trust and Hounslow Council we worked with the Friends of St Nicholas, Chiswick to put on a special programme of music and readings in the Church where the Hogarth family were buried, and supported two exhibitions on self-portraits at Hogarth&#8217;s House <strong>to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Hogarth&#8217;s death in 2014<\/strong><l\/li>\n<div id=\"attachment_296\" style=\"width: 388px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-296\" class=\"size-full wp-image-296 \" title=\"group photo\" src=\"https:\/\/williamhogarthtrust.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/group-photo.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"378\" height=\"283\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-296\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Celebrating the purchase of the Letters Patent (L to R): Anthony Fuller (Fuller&#39;s Brewery), Val Bott (trustee), Jason Bowyer (trustee), Caroline Reed (ALM London) and Ted Hofmann (Quaritch)<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Trust relies on donations, fund-raising and grants to support its work.
