\"Small<\/a>Not only is there a smashing exhibition of celebrity self-portraits, The Small Self<\/strong>,<\/em> but there are some new items in the shop at Hogarth’s House. Pop in as a relief from Christmas shopping or in order to do a bit of Christmas-gift-buying. It is also the perfect place tyo take the visiting friends and relatives over the holidays. The full colour catalogue of The Small Self<\/strong><\/em>, with images of all of the 53 self-portraits contributed for the exhibition, plus Hogarth’s own self-portraits, is also available at \u00a36.95. The House is open every day except Monday, 12 noon to 5pm, admission free, and the exhibition continues until 11 January.<\/p>\n

\"Rowson<\/a>Guardian cartoonist, Martin Rowson, a passionate Hogarth enthusiast, produced a Hogarth-inspired drawing, Hogarth’s Roundabout, to mark the 300th anniversary of the artist’s birth in 1997. An A3 reproduction on good quality paper can be purchased ready to frame at \u00a315 a copy. To mark the 250th anniversary of Hogarth’s death the same image has now been adapted to create a high quality cotton tea towel, great fun at \u00a310.<\/p>\n

\"?????????????????\"<\/a> In addition, Martin has produced an imaginative image for a special pug mug. Printed in black on a white bone china mug, the pug stares out at you while you drink, but he is peeing Hogarth’s famous “Line of Beauty”, which runs around the mug to land in a splash on the other side! The mugs cost \u00a38.95 each.<\/p>\n
