A handsome information panel was unveiled shortly before Easter near Hogarth’s tomb-monument at Chiswick.<\/p>\n

It was sponsored by the Friends of St Nicholas Church and designed by Toni Marshall to match the panel at the Hogarth statue.<\/p>\n

The panel is intended to help visitors read the now-worn inscriptions on the tomb which was restored in 2010. These include the epitaph to Hogarth composed by his friend, the actor David Garrick.<\/p>\n
